Pretending you have control over so many of life’s outcomes is an illusion and is causing you pain. The amount of research, value judgments and analysis required to identify, navigate too, and remain “in balance” is exhausting. Uncertainty has a bad rep. It’s associated with fear, loss of control, and risk. Most of which people want to avoid. But why?! When on the other side is truth, self empowerment, and genuine intention. Uncertainty is a friend who’s misunderstood. Redistribute the energy you put into avoiding uncertainty and allow your essence to shine through in its place free of judgement or analysis. Self Awareness and emotional regulation will become more tangible leading you to a maintainable state of freedom and independence.
Consider No. 5, 1948, by Jackson Pollock. They called it Automatic art. Not deliberate not random. Described as a "dense bird's nest" of resin paints measuring 8 feet tall 4 feet across. The work invites the viewer to ask a question. Did Jackson Pollock envision the entire piece of art before he took his first brush stroke? Or did he accept that he couldn't know the outcome of the completed work ... thus allowing him to begin?
Open your life to uncertainty. Surrender to the idea that some of the most beautiful things in life can only be created in peaceful uncertainty.
